Whenever there is a disaster, be it natural or manmade, there is always a human impact. Cambodia has experienced some extremely difficult circumstances. CAMSA-IMAC has been at the forefront of all relief work in country. We are active to undertake different types of projects both on large scale as well as small.
Particular emphasis is given on medicine and medical supplies. There is an ever present need to get people the appropriate medical care have the appropriate medical treatment. For Add to dictionary-IMAC has created the Mobile Clinic which is on the ground going door to door, neighborhood to neighborhood in order to treat vulnerable.
The Mobile Clinic, circumcision and health promotion programs reached thousands of patients as children, old-aged, vulnerable people. The clinic provided health awareness initiatives and invaluable health sessions teaching children the importance of giving basic first aid. Some of the primary beneficiaries of the health clinic were children under the age of 5. First aid and health awareness sessions were also conducted for families to encourage them to stay healthy, clean and hygienic.
As we plan more clinics like this, our goal is clear; to reach out to children and families in need of medical care and treat them. Factoring in the enormous success of the Mobile Clinic, CAMSA-IMAC is working hard to roll out more in the coming months.
